What happens with the rate.

The rate and the terms get agreed in the app, on a card in the chat. Payment settles between the two of you, however you both choose. KollabMe never holds it.

That also means there is no escrow, no refund process and no dispute resolution. What the app keeps is the record: the terms you agreed, the timestamped thread, and a completion both people confirmed.

Questions

Is there a fee on collabs or beat licences?

No. KollabMe never holds or processes payment, so there is nothing to take a cut of. The rate and the terms are agreed in the app and settled between the two of you.

Will KollabMe stay free?

It is free to join. Paid plans for studios, venues and high-volume producers are on the roadmap. When they arrive they will be described here.

Can I pay to boost a post or a profile?

No. Featured posts are picked by the team. Ranking in the deck is the same for everyone.

Do I need a card to sign up?

No. There is no payment step anywhere in the app.
